Mentoring

How Superpower Mentors matches neurodivergent students with mentors who understand learning differences and help them build confidence.

Superpower Mentors matches neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults with mentors who share lived experience with learning differences. Mentors are young professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, and students who grew up with adversity and want to share how they owned their story.

A mentor's lived experience is their most important credential. Your child does not just get guidance. They get to watch what it looks like to be a person like them building a life they are proud of.

How matching works

  1. Let’s talk: We learn who your child is, what they’ve tried, and what they need underneath the academics.
  2. Match: The right mentor, not just any mentor. We match on lived experience, learning profile, interests, and personality, before anyone commits.
  3. Building Trust: Trust is the most important aspect of the mentor-mentee relationship and it is our primary focus in month 1. Every week your child builds consistency with someone who can speak their language.
  4. Grow: With trust, amazing things can happen. Increased confidence, self-esteem, self-advocacy, independence, and a mentee ready to launch into the future.
